My Name is Adam Calne.  I am a fourth-year student at Thompson Rivers University (TRU).  I am currently majoring in Communications with a minor in Marketing.  I chose to study at TRU because I had signed for their soccer team.  This allowed me to continue playing the game I love while also receiving a first-class education.  I started my academic journey in TRU’s business program as an economics major but realized halfway through my degree that economics was not the path that I wanted to pursue.  After University I would like to find work in Public Relations with an emphasis on media relations.  The idea of building strong relationships with journalists and media outlets is quite appealing to me.  My dream would be to combine my love of sports and my interest in Public Relations by working as a PR representative for a professional athlete or team.
