Welcome to Adam Calne’s CMNS 3550 website.  This website was created to take the reader through what I will be learning during my time in the Thompson Rivers University course titled “Media and Public Relations”.  Throughout the course I will be learning how to explain and apply best practice skills to carry out public relations functions for businesses and non-profit organizations, evaluate and produce press kits and press releases, evaluate and develop strategies for effective media interviews, and produce public relations strategies across print, broadcast, and online media environments.  As I progress through the course, I will be adding my assignments to this website so readers have the opportunity to see how the lessons I have learned can be put into practice.  Once again, I would like to welcome you to the website, and I hope you can grow your knowledge in the fascinating field of Media and Public Relations with me.
